We are very excited to kick-off the final convening of the Stories of Change Impact Lab, a partnership with Sundance Institute and Skoll Foundation.
The people coming together for this week-long collaboration are all designers of sorts. While the tools at our disposal are as varied as the the expertise in the room, our reason for coming together is shared. Unleashing our creative firepower to open innovative new pathways for organizations like Barefoot College, Imazon, mothers2mothers, Partners In Health, and YouthBuildUSA is inspiring, and it is a privilege.
At Tomorrow we believe that design can be a powerful force for positive change and we are particularly excited to introduce our approach to social entrepreneurs who are already creating breakthrough models that ignite sweeping change for seemingly intractable problems.
Our process aims to bring clarity to complex and often ambiguous spaces by first uncovering the needs, constraints and desires that will inform everything we’ll do together. The five participating organizations and filmmakers have been working hard for the past three months to map out their daily activities, workflows, stakeholders, pain points and strategic opportunities. Within the last few weeks, our focus has been to further refine problem spaces facing the organizations which we synthesized into single defined challenges for the Lab. Building on this foundation, the concepts we will be developing together over the course of the final workshop week should naturally be relevant and meaningful for the audiences they aim to reach.
None of this, of course, would be possible without you. We are incredibly honored and thankful for the time and talent you are giving to these organizations and the Lab. We hope the collective, creative braintrust gathered will make this nothing short of a transformative and memorable experience.
Here’s to a fantastic week together!
